Jim Waddell to retire after 25 years with PwC and IBM

Jim Waddell has decided to retire after 25 years of enviable career with PWC and IBM.

Excerpt from announcement: "[Jim is] someone who you can trust both as a friend and as a colleague. He has contributed so much to both the companies in his long and distinguished career and we all thank him for that."

He will retire on June 30, 2009.

Sad news about Tom Talerico

Tom Talerico passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009. He worked at Price Waterhouse in the late 1980's.

Subject: Sad news...

We received word today in the School Office, just as we were beginning our school day, that Mr. Tom Talerico (father of Samantha in 8th Grade and Paige in 6th Grade) died very early this morning. He had been in treatment since August for leukemia, but his condition worsened late last week.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated this Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. here at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. There will be a Visitation at 10:00 a.m., and a luncheon will follow the service in the Gathering Space.

The 6th Graders gathered for a Prayer Service in Chapel before lunch today, and the 8th Graders will have an opportunity to do likewise in the course of this afternoon. Please remember the Talerico family in your prayers.
